  We usually hit Jack's for breakfast several times a month as we are on our way to or from appointments. I get a light peameal with 2 pieces of bacon (for any Americans this is Canadian bacon not the ham they serve in the US calling it Canadian bacon!) 2 eggs, 2 toast and I get tomato slices instead of home fries and there is always a slice of fruit. My husband gets the same with potatoes and we both enjoy a cup of tea the bill is usually under $20 with tip. When we arrive at supper time he enjoys the chicken and I love the haddock. Good food, good prices and friendly staff. Tuesday is all you can eat fish.

  I cannot say enough GOOD things about Jack's. The staff is wonderful and make you feel so welcome. The food is so incredible. From their fish and chips to their chicken poutine, to their burgers and quesadilla. We stop in here every chance we get when heading that way. Add Jack's to your travels ....you wont be sorry. It's a must try for sure.

  Always busy! They have enormous portions and great pub style food. Dessert is always good too. Great bang for your buck and wonderful staff. A Lakefield fav.
